Raccoon Logic has announced a release date for Revenge of the Savage Planet.
The sequel to 2020 first-person adventure,Journey to the Savage Planet, will be released on July 08, 2025.
It will be available forXbox Series X/Sand Game Pass. It is also coming toPS5,PS4, andPC(GOG,Epic Games StoreandSteam).
Raccoon Logicannounced Revenge of the Savage PlanetduringGamescomOpening Night Live in August 2024.
“Revenge of the Savage Planetis an upbeat, satirical action adventure sci-fi,” according to an official product description. “Jump, shoot and collect your way across vibrant alien worlds, uncovering new gear and upgrades, while discovering various hidden secrets.”
The sequel features single-player, online co-op, crossplay, and split screen modes.
Released in 2020, Journey to the Savage Planet was developed byTyphoon Studiosand directed byAlex Hutchinson, who was previously creative director onUbisoft’sAssassin’s Creed 3andFar Cry4, and lead designer onEA‘s Spore.
While the studio was closed by parent companyGooglethe following year, the core talent from Typhoonreformed as Montreal-based Raccoon Logic, which regained the rights to the Savage Planet IP.
