Respawn has apologised for the launch state Star Wars Jedi: Survivor on PC.
“We are aware thatStar Wars Jedi: Survivorisn’t performing to our standards for a percentage of ourPCplayers, in particular those with high-end machines or certain specific configurations,” the company said.
When Star Wars Jedi: Survivor was released on Friday, PC players reported severe issues, including stuttering, frequent crashing, and issues wherein opening and closing the game too frequently as a result of crashes would lock players out of the game due to the DRM thinking it had been opened on several PCs at once.

Digital Foundry’sanalysis of the PC versioncalled it “The worst triple-a PC port of 2023 so far.”
What adds to the backlash is that the game was subject to asix-week delaydesigned to “achieve the level of polish our fans deserve”.
The statement posted to Twitter continues: “While there is no single, comprehensive solution for PC performance, the team has been working on fixes we believe will improve performance across a spectrum of configurations. We are committed to fixing these issues as soon as possible, but each patch requires significant testing to ensure we don’t introduce new problems.
“Thanks for understanding and apologies to any of our players experiencing these issues. We will continue to monitor performance across all platforms and share update timing as soon as it is available.”

EAhas promised“weeks,” of fixes for the game. The game currently has a “mixed,” review sentiment onSteambased on just under 10,000 reviews.
VGC tested the game onPS5for its review, which labelled the sequel “Star Wars at its very best”.
It concluded: “The performance issues we encountered were disappointing but didn’t dampen the excitement of exploring the galaxy with some of the best characters of the Disney era.”
