Several recent entries in the Resident Evil series have been confirmed for Switch.
Capcomis brining cloud versions ofResident Evil Village,Resident Evil7,Resident Evil 2andResident Evil 3toNintendo’s console later this year.

A trailer showcasing the games, which is viewable below, first aired during aNintendo Directpresentation on Tuesday.
A Resident Evil Village Cloud demo isavailabletoday ahead of the game’s Switch release on October 28.

That’s the same date the game’sWinters’ Expansion DLChitsPC,PlayStationandXboxconsoles.
Coming to Switch on December 2, the DLC includes a new third-person mode, story DLC called Shadows of Rose, and a Mercenaries update whichadds playable characters including Lady Dimitrescu, Chris Redfield and Heisenberg.
The cloud versions of Resident Evil 2, Resident Evil 3 and Resident Evil 7 are confirmed to arrive in 2022 but don’t yet have firm release dates.

The publisher said theResident Evil 4remake will preserve the essence of the original game, while “introducing modernized gameplay, a reimagined storyline, and vividly detailed graphics”.
