Remedy has detailed plans for two paid Alan Wake 2 expansions.
The first expansion, Night Springs, is currently scheduled to be released in late spring 2024, althoughRemedytoldIGNits launch window is subject to change.
The game’s second expansion, The Lakehouse, has yet to receive a release window.
Both expansions will be available at no extra cost to players who purchase the game’s Deluxe Edition and will also be available to buy separately.

Remedy also confirmed this week thatAlan Wake 2willreceive a New Game Plus mode in a post-launch update, with “exact release timing still TBD.”
The mode will enable players to retain all unlocked weapons and upgrades. It will also introduce a fresh Nightmare difficulty level and a “new alternative narrative, including new Manuscript pages and new video content”.
