Red Dead Redemption will be coming to Switch and PS4 next week, it’s been revealed.

A new trailer posted on theRockstarwebsite says the port will be released on August 17.

It will cost $49.99, and will also include the Undead Nightmare DLC. A physical edition will be released on October 13.

The game is already available on currentXboxsystems, due to the availability of theXbox 360version on the Xbox store. Both theXbox Oneand theXbox Series X/Sgenerations of consoles can play the 360 version via backwards compatibility.

Rumours around a re-release of Red Dead Redemptioncirculated last monthwhen the game was classified by South Korea’s Game Rating and Administration Committee, which has a history of revealing upcoming titles prior to their official announcement.

A Rockstar insider who has previously leaked accurate information about the company’s games claimed last yearthat remasters of Grand Theft Auto IV and Red Dead Redemption were once planned but had since been scrapped.
