New Red Dead Redemption 2 and Rockstar Games Launcher updates have been released in a bid to reduce crash errors being experienced by PC players.
“We’re aware of ongoing issues preventing some people from playing RDR2 onPCand are actively working to resolve them,” the Rockstar Support accounttweetedon Wednesday.

“We have made updates toRed Dead Redemption 2and theRockstar GamesLauncher. Please restart the Rockstar Games Launcher and RDR2 to apply the updates.”

Red Dead Redemption 2 launched for PC on Tuesday, butmany players encountered a crash errorwith the message “Red Dead Redemption 2 exited unexpectedly.”
In a statement issued to VGC, Rockstar said the most common cause of the error was out of date graphics drivers and recommend users download up to date versions.

Rockstar also recommendeddisabling anti-virus software, updating the Rockstar Launcher and clearing local profile details.
The PC version of Red Dead Redemption 2features a range of exclusive contentincluding increased draw distances, improved shadows and lighting, plus new grass and fur textures.

Red Dead Redemption 2 will be released on Stadiawhenthe cloud gaming platform launches on November 19, while the PC version will be available onSteamin December.
Red Dead Redemption 2 has shipped over 25 million unitsworldwide since itsPS4andXbox Onerelease in October 2018, according to publisherTake-Two.
