“Rockstar Gamescontinues to update the beta with a wide array of new content as well as gameplay balancing and bug fixes,” the executive said.

“We expect Red Dead Online to exit the beta period during the current quarter with significant new content to follow.

“We’re as excited as ever about the long-term opportunity for Red Dead Online,” Zelnick added.

Rockstar said in March that the next major Red Dead Online update would arrive in the spring of 2019.

Among other features, itwill include a new hostility system, offensive and defensive playing style options, fresh missions and dynamic events.

Elsewhere on the earnings call,Take-TwosaidRed Dead Redemption 2has now shipped over 24 million units worldwide since its release in October 2018.
