The first chapter of the Metaphor: ReFantazio adaptation is now available to read online.
The first chapter, which sees the main character Will meeting Strohl during the game’s early hours, can beread in English here. The Japanese adaptation will be serialized in the weekly V-Jump magazine.
Yoichi Amano will provide art for the adaptation. Amano previously worked on Dragon Quest Treasures: Another Adventure Fadora no Takarajima, another manga adaptation.
The series will be published physically in English later this year.
Metaphor: ReFantaziowas released in 2024 forPlayStation 5,XboxSeries andPC. The game earned dozens of game of the year awards, and was nominated in several categories atThe Game Awardsin December.
VGC’s5-star reviewcalled it “another unforgettable RPG from the Persona creators.”
