Raven Software has apologised for the botched launch of Warzone’s Season 1 Reloaded update this week.

In a message posted on X, the studio addressed the issues players encounteredfollowing the update’s release on Wednesday.

These included players entering a bugged state when interacting with loadout crates in-game, and getting stuck on the “Fetching Online Profile” error when attempting to access the game menu.

Warzone’s new Champion’s Quest feature was also disabled because of the issues, although it’s now available again.

“We’ve been laying the groundwork for the return of some fan favorite features in upcoming seasons, which has required a degree of preemptive setup in our live environment,” Ravensaid.

“Yesterday’s update shipped with some of that work, and we unfortunately encountered a conflict between live player data and our servers. Our teams were made immediately aware of the issues and began investigating shortly after the update went live. We rallied studio teams from around the world to get these issues resolved as swiftly as possible.

“We – as devs – love this game and apologize for the disruption that resulted from these events. Please know that we hold ourselves to a high standard and yesterday’s issues did not align with that.

While an update has been released to address the Season 1 Reloaded launch issues, Raven has advised players who are still encountering problems related to Loadouts that they may need to “swap out their current Perk Packages or delete/remake Custom Perk Packages”.

Following its apology, Raven published another messageteasingthe return of Warzone’s Rebirth Island map and the Specialist bonus, which grants players every Perk.

The studio recently dropped plans to include a controversial new Warzone feature in the Season 1 Reloaded update.

Titled Covert Exfil, the new win condition would have let players call in a helicopter for the chance to exit battle royale matches early, but it received a significant amount of negative feedback following its reveal.
