Ubisoft has detailed its launch plans for Rainbow Six Siege cross-play and cross-progression.

Both features will be enabled forPC,AmazonLuna and a newStadiaversion of the game on June 30.

Cross-play will be available betweenXboxandPlayStationconsoles in early 2022, when cross-progression will be enabled across all platforms.

“For these updates, we needed a bit more time in order to prepare and make sure they have a smooth launch,” said Guillaume Gad, associate producer atUbisoft Montreal.

“We know cross-play is a feature a lot of you have been anticipating and we are thrilled to see the enthusiasm its announcement has inspired.”

Ubisoft Montreal IT director Paul Vlasie also said: “Bringing these player bases together benefits everyone. It will finally allow you to play with your friends across different platforms.
