The first set of Gamescom Awards 2019 winners has been announced.
PS4 exclusiveDreamswon in two of the three categories it was nominated in, taking home prizes for most original game and bestPlayStation 4title.
However, it lost out to fellow Sony-published PS4 exclusiveConcrete Geniein the best family game category.
Elsewhere,Ubisoftscooped two prizes, withRoller Championsnamed best sports game and Ghost Recon Breakpoint bestPCgame.
Announced last week, the nominees were selected by a jury consisting of international games journalists and influencers, which will also name a best games company andGamescomindie award winner on Saturday, August 24 at 3.30pm CEST (2.30pm UK / 9.30am EDT).
Gamescom attendees will be able to vote for winners in the fan award categories: best booth, best eSports experience, best streamer, and most wanted game, which is selected from all the nominated titles.
