Private Division has announced plans to publish a trio of new projects, headlined by an action RPG from Ori developer Moon Studios.
TheTake-Twopublishing label, which focuses on indie games such asThe Outer WorldsandDisintegration, has also signed new projects from Roll7 and League of Geeks.
“Developing the Ori series over the last decade has been a fantastic experience for our team, and we’re thrilled to now be aiming our sights even higher with a new action RPG,” saidMoon Studiosco-foundersThomas Mahlerand Gennadiy Korol.
“We attribute our success to the ‘iterative polish’ process we use at Moon Studios, and we’re continuing that style of development to create a new game that rises above anything we’ve created thus far.”
London-based Roll7 is the studio behind the OlliOlli series, Not a Hero and most recently Laser League. According to Wednesday’s announcement, it has partnered withPrivate Divisionto take the next step in its “mission to create awesome, flow state games”.
Melbourne-based League of Geeks was established in 2011 and its debut project was digital fairy-tale board game Armello, which combines card play, tabletop strategy and RPG elements. Its upcoming title is described as “an ambitious, new video game and intellectual property”.
All three games are currently in early development and none are expected to be released until Take-Two’s fiscal year 2022, which begins in April 2021.
