Mario vs. Donkey Kong and Princess Peach: Showtime have both sold over 1 million units, according to Nintendo.
According to the company’s financial results published on Tuesday, both first-party titles have sold over 1 million units despite only being on the market for a short period.
Mario vs. Donkey Kongwas released for Switch in February, followed by Princess Peach: Showtime in March.Nintendo‘s sales figures cover until March 31.
Princess Peach: Showtime was the first gamedirected by Goemon designer Etsunobu Ebisu in over 25 years.

Also in Tuesday’s financial results,Nintendo confirmed that it will announce its next console during the current financial year, year ends in March 2025.
ANintendo Direct has been scheduled for June.
In a short statement, Nintendo president Shuntaro Furkawa said: “We will be holding aNintendo Directthis June regarding theNintendo Switchsoftware lineup for the latter half of 2024, but please be aware that there will be no mention of theNintendo Switchsuccessor during that presentation.”
