Pokémon will hold its annual Pokémon Presents live stream later today.
The stream, which is held on February 27 to mark the anniversary of thePokémonfranchise, will include information about forthcoming video game, anime and other Pokémon projects. In past years, the Pokémon presents stream has been where new entries in the main Pokémon series have been announced, such asPokémon Scarlet and Violet.
Last year,The Pokémon Companyannounced Pokémon Legends Z-A, the next entry in the Pokémon Legends spinoff series. It’s expected that during today’s Pokémon Presents stream, more information about the game, and a possible release date will be announced.
Set for release for the originalNintendo Switchconsole, it will be the second Pokémon Legends game following Pokémon Legends Arceus. Pokémon Legends Z-A will see players revisit the Kalos region and Lumoise City. It’s currently unknown if aNintendo Switch 2 version of the game is planned.
The stream will air on February 27 at 2 PM UTC/GMT, 6 AM PT, and 9 AM ET.
The Pokémon Presents stream will be available on YouTube, which you may watch via the top of this page when the event begins, as well also The Pokémon Company’s other official channels, such asTwitch.
The event will also likely include information about Pokémon GO’s next season, which will kick off soon. Updates on Pokémon Unite and the Pokémon Trading Card Game are also expected.
It’s unknown if the next main series game in the Pokémon franchise, which would be the franchise’s 10th generation, will be mentioned. Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, which was released in 2022, received two major pieces of DLC in subsequent years.
