Sony has released the latest PlayStation Portal update.

As previously reported, the update lets players connect thePS5remote play device to public Wi-Fi networks.

to do so, PS Portal can now generate a QR code for players to scan using a mobile or tablet, which can then be used to complete the necessary sign-in steps.

The update also introduces visual feedback when using the touchpad area on the Portal’s screen during remote play.

And players can now choose to display the system’s remaining battery level as a percentage on the status bar at the top right of the screen.
