A Twitch streamer has finished Elden Ring without taking a hit while using a saxophone controller.
Streamer Dr DeComposing used an electronic saxophone, mapped to the controls ofElden Ring, to complete the feat.
The run is classed, understandably, as “non-traditional controller” use, which means it’s even set apart from viral runs of the game previously accomplished with dance mats and Guitar Hero controllers.
This isn’t the first time that he’s pulled something like this off, however, as Dr DeComposing has also previously completed Bloodborne,Demon’s Soulsremake, and theDark SoulsTrilogy using the same control method.
What’s more, he managed to complete the game in less than two and a half hours.

Throughout the stream, notes from the electric saxophone would continue to play, which lead to the community referring to the runs as the “doot doot” runs.
From watching the stream, thefull archive of which is available on Dr DeComposing’s channel,he uses a combination of extremely powerful spells, heirlooms, and weapons which sees his extremely low-level character destroy bosses in a matter of seconds.
Elden Ring‘s first expansion,Shadow of the Erdtree, was announced in February, but a release date and further details have yet to be confirmed.
