Nintendo has released a new overview trailer for Paper Mario: The Origami King, confirming that the game will see the return of companion characters.

According toNintendo, the Switch RPG’s cast includes “a Bob-omb who’s lost his memory, the Toad professor of ancient history and Kamek, the Magikoopa who’s always got something up his sleeve.”

Mario will find assistance along the way from friends like Olivia, “the good-natured sister of King Olly,” and even arch-villain Bowser.

Friday’s video also demonstrates Origami King’s ring-based battles, which Nintendo says require “strategy and quick thinking to line up enemies and execute well-timed attacks to maximise damage.”

The game will feature “a detail-rich world” to explore, “off-the-wall” mini-game events and “countless mysteries” to be solved, according to Nintendo.
