Pocketpair has marked the one-year anniversary of Palworld by detailing its future roadmap for updates.
According to the developer, it will continue to update the Early Access version of the game with features such as co-op crossplay, a final boss and ending scenario, world transfers for Pals, and more.

There are no specific timeframes for the updates, but Pocketpair says it’s currently working on the following:
As part ofPalworld’s one-year anniversary celebrations, the game’s developer is also holding a Pal popularity poll. 180 Pals have appeared so far, and Pocketpair invites fans tovote for their favorite.

Released in January 2024 viaSteamEarly Access andXboxGame Preview, the monster-catching survival game was an immediate hit,attracting 25 million playersin just its first month, according to Pocketpair.
The game was later launched onPlayStation 5in September. However, itfaces a legal challenge from Nintendo and The Pokémon Companyin Japan, who allege that Palworld “infringes multiple patent rights”.

The issue stems from three patents that are related to gameplay, all of which were initially filed byNintendoand ThePokemonCompany between February and July last year.
