WWE 2K25 on Nintendo Switch 2 is missing a major feature. The game is out now onNintendo Switch 2, as is the game’s second DLC pack featuring New Jack, Penta, and more. However, publisher2Khas announced that theSwitch2 version of the game won’t include popular features present on the other platforms. Notably,WWE 2K25isn’t compatible with cross-platform community creations, and it doesn’t support the game’s image uploader. The image uploader, which is popular with players who want to import logos or textures from wrestlers that aren’t in the game (such as those from rival firm AEW) to create their own versions, won’t work on Switch 2, meaning Switch 2 players will be left with the default image featured in the game....

Microsoft’s gaming division has confirmed it will be making a fresh round of layoffs, with the company starting to inform employees across its business of the cuts on Wednesday. According toThe Seattle Times,Microsoftsaid that as much as 4%, or roughly 9,100, of the company’s total employees, across all departments, including gaming, could be affected by Wednesday’s layoffs. “We continue to implement organizational and workforce changes that are necessary to position the company and teams for success in a dynamic marketplace,” a Microsoft spokesperson said....

Xbox Game Studios’ pirate-themed co-op multiplayer game Sea of Thieves was the best-selling game on the digital PlayStation Store in Europe last month. The design director for Battlefield 6 says the game’s DLC skins will be “grounded” and will reflect the game’s setting, unlike Call of Duty. A new Plague Tale game from developer Asobo Studio has leaked ahead of an official announcement which could be made later today. The existence of a third entry in the Plague Tale series wasreportedlyfirst revealed in a since-deleted Threads post from publisher Focus Entertainment. A teaser trailer for the game, which is viewable below, also seemingly confirms its title, launch window and target platforms. The console versions of Alan Wake 2 will have a Performance mode with an increased frame rate, despite originally being designed to run at 30 frames per second.
