The second of two Halloween video games has been revealed, alongside a new game based on the Evil Dead IP. On Monday it was announced that Boss Team Games – which was most recently responsible for Evil Dead: The Game –is working on two video games based on the 1978 movie Halloween. Monday’s announcement also revealed that one of these games would be developed in Unreal Engine 5 and would have input from the original movie’s director John Carpenter....

Microsoft has announced the next wave of titles coming to Xbox Game Pass, including Gears Tactics for PC and The Long Dark for PC and console. OnPC, The Long Dark will join the subscription service’s library on April 16, ahead of Gato Roboto on April 21, Deliver Us The Moon on April 23,Gears Tacticson April 28, and HyperDot and Levelhead on April 30, whileMicrosoftsaysMachinarium is “coming soon”. Microsoft has announced the latest batch of titles headed to Game Pass for console, PC and Xbox Cloud Gaming. They include a day one release for 33 Immortals, the co-op action-roguelike which was recently given a March 18 early access release date. Titles joining the service in the first half of this month include Monster Train,which is available today, Enter the Gungeon, and Mullet Madjack. Xbox has started rolling out a new AI-powered chatbot called Support Virtual Agent. It’s available now for US-basedXboxInsiders, ahead of a wider release planned for a later date. According to Megha Dudani, senior product manager lead atMicrosoftGaming, the new feature is designed to “help Xbox players more efficiently solve their support-related gaming issues”. It can “quickly access information from support.xbox.com to answer questions relevant to Xbox console and game support issues”, she said onXbox Wire....

Xbox has announced a multi-year deal with Inworld to build AI dialogue and narrative tools at scale. Haiyan Zhang,Xbox’s general manager of gaming AI,saidthe goal of the partnership is to create new state-of-the-art tools for multiplatform developers of all sizes. “Together, we aim to deliver an accessible, responsibly designed multi-platform AI toolset to assist and empower creators in dialogue, story & quest design,” she wrote. 12 new episodes of the Pokémon Horizons anime are now available on BBC iPlayer.
