Call of Duty Warzone look set to add a Sandbox mode, according to new audio dialogue uncovered in the game’s files. ZestyCODLeakshas posted asix-minute video clipcontaining a host of new dialogue lines that will reportedly be officially added to the game in the near future. Chinese developer 24 Entertainment has premiered online combat game Naraka: Bladepoint at The Game Awards. Due for release in 2020, Naraka is described as a close-quarters multiplayer title in which “eastern influences meet western style.” Naraka is set in the mysterious Eastern realm of Morus and features a “boundless” movement system that allows players to climb, hang, and parkour. Gameplay also involves an “aim-at-whatever-you-want” grappling hook and a “sophisticated yet beginner-friendly” combat system involving block & parry mechanics, according to its developer....

The composer of Square Enix’s Dragon Quest series, Koichi Sugiyama, has died at the age of 90. Sugiyama composed all 11 main games in the Dragon Quest series, whichSquare Enixsays totalled over 500 pieces of music which he composed by himself with no collaboration. The publisher says Sugiyama’s final work was the score for the upcoming Dragon Quest XII, which has yet to be given a release date. Although Sugiyama’s legacy as a composer will live on, he was also a controversial figure who drew criticism from many for his views on war and LGBTQ+ people....

CD Projekt Red has released a new Cyberpunk 2077 update, which it says fixes various issues across quests, gameplay and performance. The ‘Fix the Comms Array’ puzzle in the Dead Space remake can be difficult if you don’t know what you’re doing. The puzzle is one of the new elements that have been added to the remake, replacing a slightly similar puzzle that was in the original game. Bethesda has detailed Fallout 76’s content roadmap for 2024.
