The Humble Bundle digital storefront has backtracked and apologised after its plans to remove its charity sliders were met with a backlash. Intellivision CEO Tommy Tallarico has stepped down, ahead of the release of the company’s frequently delayed Amico console. Tallarico, who will remain president of Intellivision, has been replaced by Phil Adam, the company’s former chief revenue officer. Mario Kart Tour’s next timed event, the Tokyo Tour, will begin on Wednesday, September 9 at 7am BST / 2am EDT. The Tokyo Tour will introduce a new track based on the Japanese city, as well as additional retro tracks, karts, gliders and a Japan-themed Mario variant. British motor racing team McLaren Racing has joined a multi-year partnership with Sonic the Hedgehog, Sega has confirmed. Designed to highlight each partner as “globally recognised icons of speed”, the pairing will lead to “creative integrations and experiences that fuse the worlds of motorsport and gaming and engage audiences of all ages both on the grid and screen”.
