Activision Blizzard has officially recognised the union established by a group of QA workers at Raven Software. The Game Workers Alliance, which is the first labour union at a major US gaming company, was formed following a vote on May 23. Amazon‘s US arm and Target are running ‘Buy 2, save 50% on 1’ promotions on a range of products including video games. When two qualifying products are purchased,Amazonand Target will apply a 50% discount to the cheapest item. Sales of Sony’s PlayStation VR2 headset have started slowly, according to estimates by a research firm. Bloombergreports that, according to IDC,Sonywill likely have sold around 270,000 units by the end of March. The latest Games Done Quick event has now ended, raising more than $2.5 million to fight cancer. Awesome Games Done Quick took place between January 5-12, and consisted of more than 130 speedruns. By the time the event ended on Sunday the total amount raised was $2,556,305, with the money going to the Prevent Cancer Foundation. As noted onRedditby Thorebane, who keeps track of stats for Games Done Quick, the organisation has now raised more than $54 million for charity since it started 15 years ago, with more than $26 of this going to the Prevent Cancer Foundation....

Rocksteady Studios has confirmed it won’t be showing off its “next big project” at E3 this month. Call of Duty Warzone will add a new One in the Chamber game mode this week.
