A fan-made ‘demake’ of Dead Space is available to download for free. Dead Space Demakewas developed by Fraser Brumley to help him learn Unreal Engine and let him experiment with “the PS1 aesthetic”. New details about Pokémon Sword and Shield’s second expansion, The Crown Tundra, will be announced on Tuesday. The Pokémon Companyis planning to release fresh information about the expansion in a video update scheduled to begin at 6am PT/9am ET/2pm UK on September 29. Activision Blizzard has removed its titles from Nvidia’s GeForce Now, just one week after the game streaming platform launched. Playground Games co-founder Gavin Raeburn has launched a new triple-A game studio. UK studio Lighthouse Games will be based in Leamington Spa, the same town wherePlayground Gamesis located. The team is currently working on an as-yet unannounced triple-A game featuring a brand new IP. Raeburn co-founded Playground Games with Trevor Williams and Ralph Fulton in 2010. The studio would go on to develop all five games in theForza Horizonseries, the first of which was directed by Raeburn....

Marvel’s Avengers matchmaking problems are reportedly being exacerbated by a declining player count, with the PC version of the live service game said to be notably affected. Five days after the title’s September 4 release, developerCrystal Dynamicssaidit was working to deliver “significant improvements requested for matchmaking”. Some of these were provided in the game’s first major post-release patch, V1.3.0, on September 18. Crystal Dynamicsclaimedthe patch addressed 1,000 issues players had helped surface in the two weeks since the game’s release, including “various fixes to multiplayer and matchmaking systems”....
