As reported byAutomaton, the game’s latest version 1.41 update includes a change to its Digital Figure mode, which is a photo mode where the player can choose a fighter from the game and rotate and zoom the camera around them. Disintegration, the new shooter from Halo co-creator Marcus Lehto, will release digitally on June 16 for consoles and PC, publisher Private Division has announced. The second season of HBO’s The Last of Us is targeting a 2025 release. Activision has revealed Call of Duty Warzone 2’s new Resurgence map, Ashika Island. Kazuhisa Hashimoto, the creator of the famous ‘Konami Code’, has died at the age of 61, according toa former colleague. Hashimoto was a programmer, designer and producer atKonamiduring the 80s and 90s and worked on classic titles such as Snatcher, ISS and Gradius. But his greatest legacy is the Konami Code, a string of button inputs first used in the NES version of Gradius. Finding the game too difficult to play through during testing, Hashimoto created a cheat code to give the player a full set of power-ups....

A modder has recreated Super Mario Odyssey within its 24-year-old predecessor Super Mario 64. Super Mario Odyssey64 is a rom hack created by popular community modder Kaz Emanuar. A version of the mod released on Saturday and includes over 80 Moons to collect, scattered across 64-bit recreations of Odyssey’s worlds. The mod requires an emulator to run, but since it’s a rom hack it’s likely to eventually be removed via a legal claim fromNintendo....
