Bethesda has released an hour-long concert of Starfield music. The concert, which can be viewed on theBethesda YouTube channelor via the video embedded above, is performance by the London Symphony Orchestra. The LSO previously collaborated withBethesdafora concert marking the 10th anniversary of Skyrim, during which it performed a 10-minuteStarfieldSuite featuring music from the game. This, however, marks the first full concert featuring the game’s music. Starfield’s music was composed byInon Zur, an Israeli-American composer whose previous work includes the soundtracks for Fallout 3 and 4, the Dragon Age series and Crysis....

HBO’s The Last Of Us TV show begins tonight in both the US and the UK. The adaptation, which stars Pedro Pascal and Bella Ramsey has receivedrave reviewsahead of its first episode airing. World of Warcraft: Dragonflight, the latest expansion to the long-running MMO, will release in November. In ablog,Blizzardexplained how the expansion will take players to the Dragon Isles, a new environment to explore. The expansion will also introduce the new Dracthyr Evoker,World of Warcraft’s first-ever race and class combination. “Able to switch between a humanoid visage and a fearsome draconic form, the dracthyr are highly mobile, and their unique Evoker class can specialize in ranged damage-dealing or in aiding their allies as a healer by harnessing the mystical gifts of dragonkind,” reads a description of the class in the blog....

Microsoft has announced its plans for Gamescom 2024. TheXboxbooth will feature over 50 playable games, split across first-party Xbox Games Studios releases and third-party Xbox titles. Attendees will be able to go hands-on with upcoming Xbox releases, including: Xbox will also host exclusive theater presentations ofAvowed,Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, andStarfield: Shattered Space. Blizzard‘sGamescom2024 presence will also be part of the Xbox booth. The writer of Final Fantasy Tactics has explained why he’s changed the script for the upcoming remaster. The classic 1997 tactical RPG is getting a modern remaster onPCand consoles called Final Fantasy Tactics: The Ivalice Chronicles, which is set to arrive on September 30. In an interview withJPGames.de, Yasumi Matsuno – the original script writer, scenario writer and editor for the game – was asked about recent trailers for the remaster, which promise “story adjustments” and “additional dialogue”....

Nintendo has won $2.1 million in damages in a lawsuit against now-closed pirate site ROMUniverse. The California lawsuit, whichNintendofiled in September 2019, alleged that the owner of the site, Matthew Storman, uploaded and distributed pirated Nintendo games, and profited from mass-scale copyright infringement by charging paid subscriptions. As reported byTorrentFreak, Storman had disagreed with these allegations and decided to fight Nintendo in court without an attorney. He argued that the site wasn’t breaking any laws and that he hadn’t uploaded any of the ROMs himself....

Canadian peripheral firm Dbrand put its PS5 ‘Darkplates’ on sale on Friday and within hours it had sold out of stock until May. The company, which is mainly known for its phone cases,is selling the Disc Edition matte black PS5 faceplates for $50 each, with the Digital variant set to go on sale later. First-person psychological horror game Blair Witch will be released for PS4 on December 3. Developed by Layers of Fear studioBloober Teamin partnership with Lionsgate Games, the title features an original story inspired by iconic horror film The Blair Witch Project.
