Larian Studios CEO Swen Vinke has said the company’s moving on from Baldur’s Gate and the Dungeons & Dragons universe. Lies of P is getting a sequel, the game’s director Ji Won Choi has confirmed. He mentioned a sequel to the Souls-like game, which was inspired by the story of Pinocchio, in a video update which is viewable below. “Our highest priority is developing the DLC and working on our sequel,” he said. “The dev team is putting in significant effort, brainstorming and exploring different aspects of the projects.”...

Microsoft has called for a class-action lawsuit over ‘drifting’ Xbox controllers to be taken out of the courtroom, by compelling arbitration. The lawsuit, which wasfiled in April last yearon behalf of severalXboxusers, alleges that drifting issues – which see controller movements incorrectly registered due to wear – have been experienced by a large volume of Xbox owners across various controller models. The suit alleges that the drifting issues are caused by a design flaw in Xbox controllers, which it claimsMicrosoftis aware of and failed to disclose to customers....

The second of the free games in the Epic Games Store’s ’15 Days of Free Games’ campaign is available now. Neon Abyss is currentlyavailable to claim for free, but will only be available for 24 hours. Netflix has confirmed that it will be delisting more than 20 of its mobile games next month. Titles set to be removed from the service include Hades, Braid: Anniversary Edition and the Monument Valley trilogy. A new analysis of Sony’s updated PlayStation 5 model has suggested that some of its components could actually run cooler than in the original hardware. Nintendo is facing another class action lawsuit over drifting Switch Joy-Con controllers. The latest of several related lawsuits was filed in a Seattle court on Tuesday by a California-based minor through his guardian (thanks,Polygon). The plaintiff claims they first suffered Joy-Con drift approximately three months after purchasing aSwitchconsole with their own money in March 2017 when the product launched. They claim to have encountered malfunctions in three separate sets of Joy-Con controllers, which “exhibited drifting even after the controllers had been purportedly repaired or replaced byNintendo”....
