Data stolen from Polish studio CD Projekt has reportedly been leaked online, including the source code for Cyberpunk 2077, The Witcher 3 and more. CD Projekt Redfirst revealed in February that it hadfallen victim to a targeted cyber attack. In a statement, the developer said some of its internal systems had been compromised and “certain data” stolen. The stolen data was said to include the source code files for CD Projekt Red’s game development engine, RedEngine, and titles includingThe Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, an upcomingray-traced version of The Witcher 3, Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales andCyberpunk 2077....

Gary Bowser, the hacking group member who was convicted for creating and selling circumvention devices enabling users to play illegal backups on Switch and 3DS, has been released from prison early. Bowserwas sentenced in February 2022 to 40 months in prisonfor his part as a member of a hacking group called Team-Xecuter, which in 2013 began creating and selling circumvention devices enabling users to play illegal ROMs on consoles, includingSwitchand 3DS....

A new report claims that the upcoming All-Elite Wrestling (AEW) video game may be released as soon as September. The debut video game for the upstart rival to WWE is being developed byYuke’s, the Japanese studio previously responsible for the WWE Smackdown / WWE2Kseries from 2000 to 2018. While seemingly early footage from the game was shown lastJuneandSeptember, there’s been no further information about the title since. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2’s worldwide reveal will be next week, according to a debut trailer featuring Task Force 141. The teaser, titled “Ultimate Team” shows soldiers in a dark truck riding toward a battlefield, before the trailer ends announcing the full gameplay reveal, which will take place on June 8. A trailer for the upcoming Five Nights at Freddy’s movie has appeared online. The trailer, which is heavily watermarked, has circulated on social media over the weekend. While efforts have been made to contain the leak, it’s still easily findable on social media. A live concert of Kirby music will be streamed online next week, Nintendo has announced. The Kirby 30th Anniversary Music fest, which wasannounced back in March, will be taking place at Tokyo Garden Theater on August 11, andNintendowill be streaming the concert globally on YouTube. The concert starts at 6pm in Tokyo, which translates to 2am PDT / 5am EDT / 10am BST. Lego has revealed that its upcoming Lego Luigi figure will interact with the Lego Mario figure. This will allow two people to play with the interactive Lego Super Mario stages together, either co-operatively or competitively. “Connect Lego Luigi with Lego Mario for 2-player action,” Lego’s announcement states. “This new super-interactive way of playing enables children to explore the unique courses they build with a friend or family member. “Together they can earn bonus digital coins for in-sync actions like flipping and jumping, and share extra rewards for defeating enemies and completing challenges as a team....
