The full list of games at this year’s BitSummit has been revealed. The event, which is Japan’s most popular indie games expo, will return to its regular venue at the the Miyako Messe in Kyoto from Friday, July 19 to Sunday, July 21. Now the event organisers have listed the 120 indie games, from Japan and around the world, which will be exhibited at the event. The full list of gamescan be found on the BitSummit website....

Luke Smith and Mark Noseworthy, two Bungie veterans known for their work on the Destiny series, are reportedly no longer working at the company, following the cancellation of the Payback project. Capcom hasn’t completely given up on the possibility of releasing Deep Down, according to corporate officer Yoshinori Ono. Ono announced the game in February 2013, with a trailer showing a medieval knight battling a fire-breathing dragon in a subterranean lair. Featuring randomly generated dungeons, monsters and loot, the free to play online RPG was in development exclusively forPS4atCapcomOnline Games in collaboration with SCEJapan Studio. Deep Down was set in New York in 2094, but transported players into the past to battle monsters and dragons....

Cities Skylines 2 DLC is being refunded and added to the base game for free after being “rushed out” in an unsatisfactory state. Mariina Hallikainen, the CEO of developer Colossal Order, and Mattias Lilja, the deputy CEO of publisherParadox Interactive, apologised to players for the latest in a series of disappointments in aforum postpublished on Thursday. After Cities Skylines 2 wasreleased for PC with various issues last October, Colossal Order said it wasdelaying the launch of DLCincluded in the game’s Ultimate Edition so that it could prioritise performance improvements and bug fixes....

A peripheral company forced to stop selling custom PS5 faceplates has committed to resurrecting the product via crowdfunding. Last monthCustomizeMyPlates.comwas forced to change its original name of PlateStation5 and eventually pull its entire range of custom PS5 faceplates, following threat of legal action fromSony. The UK-based firm shifted its focus to custom console skins and said it would be “wiser” on trademark and patent laws going forward. However, Customize My Plates is now looking to crowdfunding platform Gofundme to bring back the custom PS5 faceplates....

The much-anticipated Version 2.0 update for Cyberpunk 2077 is now rolling out on PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC. The update accompanies the release of the game’s story expansion Phantom Liberty. While Phantom Liberty costs $30 / £25, the Version 2.0 update will be free to allPCand current-gen players. Blizzard has officially announced Diablo IV’s first expansion, Vessel of Hatred.
