The online servers for MultiVersus officially close down today, bringing an end to Warner Bros Games’ crossover Smash Bros rival. The publisher announced back in January that the game’s fifth season would be its last, running from February 5 to May 30. Today at 9am PT / 12pm ET / 5pm BST, the game will go offline and will be delisted from thePlayStationStore,MicrosoftStore,SteamandEpic Games Store. The game will still be playable offline, but only if players have logged in any time since February 4 and it shutting down later today....

Netflix has released the official trailer for its upcoming Cyberpunk Edgerunners anime series. The trailer, which is viewable below, focuses on introducing some of the show’s main characters. The Edgerunners crew consists of David, Maine, Dorio, Kiwi, Pilar, Rebecca and Lucy. Set for release in September, Cyberpunk Edgerunners is animated by Tokyo-based animation company Studio Trigger. It’s directed by Hiroyuki Imaishi (Gurren Lagann, Kill la Kill, Promare) and features an original score composed byAkira Yamaoka(Silent Hill)....

Priced at $79.99 and set for release on October 18, it sees players using real-life fitness exercises to explore the game world and battle enemies. Nintendo president Shuntaro Furukawa has said the firm still believes its Nintendo Direct presentations are an effective means of communication, despite skipping only its second June event in seven years. However, complications around remote working have contributed to the company deciding to push back its schedule in 2020.
