Warner Bros Games and developer Player First have revealed when Beetlejuice is coming to MultiVersus. The horror-comedy character will arrive in the game on September 20. Beetlejuice is part of the relaunched free-to-play game’s second season, which also added Samurai Jack as a playable character. Season 2 also added Ranked mode, a Water Tower stage and a Dexter’s Lab stage.

BioShock creator Ken Levine has premiered a new trailer for his next first-person shooter, Judas. Judas is a single-player, narrative first-person shooter developed byGhost Story Games, Levine’s new studio formed after the closure of BioShock studio Irrational Games in 2014. “Explore the corridors of the Mayflower, a spacefaring city whose citizens are trained to spy on one another and tear each other apart for the slightest offense,” a synopsis reads....

Bungie has provided a development update on Marathon, its upcoming sci-fi PvP extraction shooter. Game director Joe Ziegler discussed the current state of the project in a nine-minute YouTubevideoreleased on Monday, which is viewable below. Following Marathon’s announcement in May 2023,Bungiesaidit would be “going dark to focus on the game… and when we come back – we’ll have gameplay to show”. Ziegler said in today’s update that Bungie isn’t ready to reveal Marathon gameplay yet....

CD Projekt is facing potential class action lawsuits over its alleged misrepresentation of Cyberpunk 2077. As reported by theNew York times,one Warsaw-based law firmandCD Projektinvestor has announced it’s analysing grounds for legal action on the basis of “misrepresentation in order to obtain financial benefits”. It said its investigation was related to “recent events” and particularlyCyberpunk’s removal from the PlayStation Store, which saw CD Projekt’s share price fall by 15% on December 18....

CD Projekt has officially responded to a second class action lawsuit brought against the company by investors over Cyberpunk 2077’s troubled launch. In an update on its investor relations site,CD Projektsaidit has been informed by its lawyers that a second class action lawsuit related to the game has been filed in the United States District Court for the Central District of California. CD Projekt said “the content of the claim, including its subject and scope, is the same” as another class action suitdisclosed by the company in December 2020....

Bungie’s launch plans for Destiny 2 The Final Shape appear to have been thrown into disarray after some players reportedly gained access to the milestone expansion ahead of its release next week.
