Overwatch saw its highest day ever on Twitch coinciding with Wednesday’s launch of the Overwatch 2 beta.

Players hoping to participate in theOverwatch 2beta canregisterfor the chance to do so orgain access to it via Twitch drops.

By watching any ofBlizzard’spartnered streamersduring defined time windows, players who have linked their Twitch account to their Battle.net account will earn a beta key for the game.

The promotion has attracted significant interest, breaking theOverwatchviewership record on Twitch.

Running until May 17,the Overwatch 2 betawill only be available forPC, but Blizzard has said it plans to include console players in future tests.

The beta includes access to Overwatch 2’s 5v5 PvP mode, the new Push Mode, Ping System, four hero reworks (Orisa, Doomfist, Bastion, Sombra),one new hero (Sojourn), all OW1 maps and four new maps (Circuit Royal, Midtown, Toronto and Rome).
