Microsoft has announced October’s Xbox Live Games with Gold titles.
Maid of Sker (normally $24.99/£19.99) will then be available as a free download from October 16 to November 15.
On Xbox One andXbox 360, Sphinx and the Cursed Mummy (normally $14.99/£11.99) will be free forXboxLive Gold members from October 1-15.
And from October 16 until the end of the month, Costume Quest (normally $14.99/£9.99) will be free to download.
As part ofSeptember’s Games with Gold line-up, members can downloadThe Divisionand Armed and Dangerous until the end of this month, while The Book of Unwritten Tales 2 is free until October 15.
Microsoftrecentlystopped selling 12-month Xbox Live Gold subscriptions, fuelling speculation that the long-running service could be repackaged or phased out to coincide with theXbox Series X and S launches on November 10.
However,the company subsequently told VGC“there are no changes being made to the experience of the service or Xbox Live Gold.”
Earlier today Microsoft datedfive upcoming Game Pass titlesincludingDoom EternalandForza Motorsport 7, and said theEAPlay service will be added to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate starting on November 10.
