Microsoft has announced October 2021’s Xbox Live Games with Gold titles.
Hover (normally $24.99 / £19.99) will be available as a free download from October 16 to November 15.
Xbox 360game Castlevania: Harmony of Despair (normally $14.99 / £9.99) will be free for Xbox Live Gold members from October 1-15.
And from October 16 until the end of the month, Xbox 360 titleResident EvilCode: Veronica X (normally $19.99 / £14.99) will be free to download.
As part ofSeptember 2021’s Xbox Games with Gold line-up, members can download Warhammer: Chaosbane and Samurai Shodown II for free until the end of this month, while Mulaka is available until October 15.

Previously, Xbox Live Gold was required to play all Xbox games online, including over 50 free-to-play titles such asWarzone,FortniteandRocket League, which are available at no extra cost on rival platforms.
Earlier this year,Microsoft reversed plans to increase the priceof a six-month Xbox Live Gold subscription by 50% to $60.
