Nintendo has rolled out the latest Switch system update, version 9.0.1.
The platform holder says the update features “general system stability improvements to enhance the user’s experience”.
These include a fix for an issue that may trigger errors during gameplay, and a solution for an issue that may instruct users to remove the Joy-Con when initially setting up theNintendo SwitchLite console.
Unlike the flagship Switch’s detachable Joy-Con controllers, Switch Lite features integrated controls that don’t include HD rumble or an IR motion camera.
Switch Lite can’t be connected to a TVbut can play all Switch games that support handheld mode. In VGC’sNintendo Switch Lite review, we called the system “a secondary console worth owning”.

Nintendo of Europe opened online orders for SNES controllers on MondaySeptember 30,two weeks after the product went on sale in the US.
But shortly after online orders launched in Europe, some users reported the product being unavailable. It’s unclear if the initial allocation of wireless SNES controllers has simply sold out, althoughNintendo has apologised and said it’s “looking into” the issue.
Generally, Switch will automatically download the most recent system update while it’s connected online, Nintendosays.
