Nintendo has released a new trailer for its Xenoblade Chronicles X remaster for Nintendo Switch, and confirmed a bonus DLC pack for specific versions.

As previously announced,Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition will release for Switch on July 06, 2025, featuring enhanced visuals, added story elements and more, according to the platform holder.

Originally released in 2015 and developed byMonolith Soft, Xenoblade Chronicles X is the second game in the Xenoblade Chronicles series. It was succeeded by twoSwitchgames, Xenoblade Chronicles 2 in 2017 andXenoblade Chronicles 3in 2022.

Players who purchase the digital version ofXenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Editionon theNintendoeShop or My Nintendo Store before April 6 will receive the in-game “Exploration Support Pack”, Nintendo said on Thursday.

Additionally, those who purchase the physical or digital versions from GameStop in the US will also receive a code for the pack.

The Exploration Support Pack contains the following bonus items:

“Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition features your character at the center of the action in a standalone sci-fi story,” reads a synopsis for the game.

“There is even more to discover in this definitive version of the game. Just who is the mysterious hooded figure on the beach? You’ll have to stay tuned to learn more…”
