Nintendo has addressed a series of claims from accessory manufacturer Genki surrounding the Nintendo Switch 2.

Over the last week, a deluge of images and claims have emerged from CES, which took place in Las Vegas. At the center of this is accessory maker Genki. The company reportedly showed what it claimed to be an accurate replicaof Nintendo’s next system.

Representatives from the company also claimed to have a final unit of the system, and shared information about the as-yetunannounced system’s release date.

Now,Nintendohas commented on these images to the Japanese publicationSankei. “These images and videos are not official,” a representative for Nintendo told Sankei.

It’s a rare acknowledgment of internet rumours from Nintendo, however the scale of the leaked images and details of the next system may have prompted the company to respond.
