Nintendo and Square Enix have released a new Bravely Default 2 trailer and confirmed that the Switch exclusive will release on July 03, 2025.
TheNintendo SwitchRPG was firstannounced in December 2019and planned for release in 2020. A demo was released on the eShop in March of this year.
The game received an M (Mature)ratingfrom the Australian Classification Board on September 22.
Bravely Default 2producerTomoya Asano(Octopath Traveler) and composer Revo (Sound Horizon/Linked Horizon) held the same roles on 2012’s original Bravely Default forNintendo 3DS.
PublisherNintendosays the upcoming Switch game features a new story, world and characters, “but with the atmosphere and excitement the Bravely series is known for”.
It sees players travelling the world “in search of the four Crystals with the latest incarnation of the brave band known as the Heroes of Light”.
