Ubisoft Club and Uplay are merging into a new set of services called Ubisoft Connect.

Launching alongsideWatch Dogs Legionon October 29,Ubisoftdescribes Connect as “the evolution of our ecosystem of services for all Ubisoft games across all platforms”.

New Ubisoft Connect service will offer cross-progression and digital rewards

For its newest games includingHyper Scape,Assassin’s Creed Valhalla,Immortals Fenyx RisingandRiders Republic, Ubisoft Connect will support cross-progression, meaning players can save a game on one platform and resume it on another.

It will also offer access to digital rewards. Each time players level up in Ubisoft Connect, they’ll earn Units which can be spent on items such as weapons, skins, emotes and consumables.

In anFAQ, Ubisoft said “the transition from Uplay/Ubisoft Club to Ubisoft Connect does not impact what is associated to your account. You keep your profile, your friends, your stats, your level, your XP and units. A new loyalty system will start but will remain compatible with units and XP.”

Ubisoft Club rewards have also beenunlockedfor over 30 games that are no longer patched and have not transitioned to Ubisoft Connect.
