A new version of Red Dead Redemption 2 has been rated by the Australian classification board.
While a specific platform isn’t listed alongside the classification, it’s possible the rating is for a highly anticipated – yet still unconfirmed –PCversion ofRockstar’s hit western game.

The title wasclassifiedMA 15+ on August 20, meaning it’s legally restricted to persons aged 15 years and older.
Red Dead Redemption 2 has shipped over 25 million unitsworldwide since itsPS4andXbox Onerelease in October 2018, according to publisherTake-Two.

In June, Take-Two CEOStrauss Zelnickgave the clearest indication yet thatRed Dead Redemption 2 will be released for PC. Asked about the prospect of bringingRed Dead Redemption 2’s online multiplayer mode, Red Dead Online, to PC, he said: “There’s no downside to releasing the game on PC.”
While Red Dead Redemption 2 remains unannounced for PC, given its success on PS4 and Xbox One – plus Rockstar’s history of launching PC versions of its games after their console release – it would be surprising if a PC version isn’t officially confirmed in due course.

Just last weekRockstar released a dedicated game launcher for its PC titlesincludingGrand Theft Auto V.
