Lost Judgment will contain a playable Sega Master System, new footage has revealed.
Eight minutes of new gameplay footage was posted on Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio’s official YouTube channel (as seen in the video embedded above).

At the 4-minute mark, the footage shows protagonist Takayuki Yagami in his office, where his pinball machine has been replaced by aSegaMaster System.
It’s not yet clear how many games will be playable on the console, but the footage shows Alex Kidd in Miracle World and Penguin Land being played.

In the originalJudgment, Yagami had a pinball machine in his office. This was then replaced with an OutRun arcade machine in thePS5andXbox Series X/Supgrade Judgment Remastered earlier this year. The Master System now replaces this.
Previous games in theYakuzaseries have let players discover and play classic Sega arcade games. The likes of Space Harrier, Fantasy Zone, Virtua Fighter 2, Super Hang-On and Puyo-Puyo have been playable in the past. This is the first time a home console has been featured, however.

Lost Judgment is the sequel to 2018’s Yakuza spin-off Judgment. It wasofficially revealed via a video presentationlast month, and will be released worldwide on September 24 forPS4, PS5,Xbox Oneand Xbox Series X/S.
“I’m confident we’ve created a game unlike anything you’ve seen before,”recently appointed Sega creative directorand Yakuza creatorToshihiro Nagoshisaid during the presentation.

The “legal suspense action game” will retain the fast-paced action of the original, rather than adopting the turn-based RPG system used in 2020’sYakuza: Like a Dragon.
In addition to Kamurocho, it will take players to the port city of Yokohama, and returning protagonist Takayuki Yagami will go undercover at a high school.
