Netflix and Ubisoft have signed a content partnership with the goal of creating an Assassin’s Creed TV universe.

The deal will see the companies create live action, animated, and anime series based onUbisoft’s video game franchise, which has sold over 155 million units since debuting in 2007.

The first project will be a live action adaptation executive produced by Ubisoft Film & Television’s Jason Altman and Danielle Kreinik.

The live action series is currently seeking a showrunner,Deadlinereports.

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla feels like a return to the series' roots

A 2016 Assassin’s Creed film starring Michael Fassbender grossed $240.7 worldwide, according toBox Office Mojo.

The next entry in the game series,Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, is scheduled for release on Jun 21, 2025.
