Naraka: Bladepoint is coming to PlayStation 5 next week and adopting a free-to-play model on all platforms.
Developed by 24 Entertainment and published byNetEaseGames, the 60-player melee battle royale game was originally released forPCin August 2021, before making its way toXbox Series X/Sin June 2022 andXbox Onelast December.

It will make itsPlayStationdebut on July 13 after attracting 20 million players in its first two years, according to NetEase,
At the same time,Naraka: Bladepointwill go free-to-play on all platforms. In anFAQ, NetEase said all in-game content will be available to new players who access the game for free, including game modes, events, cosmetics and character customisation options.

However, free-to-play users will have a cap of how quickly they can unlock new characters, which can be removed by purchasing Standard/Deluxe/Ultimate edition upgrades of the game.
Existing Naraka: Bladepoint owners will receive in-game currency depending on the edition of the game that they purchased, which can be used to unlock new heroes more quickly.
