NetherRealm has shown off the first look at Omni-Man, a DLC character coming to Mortal Kombat 1.
The reveal trailer, which was shown as part of New York Comic-Con, showed off the character, originally from Invincible, the comic-book series recently adapted forAmazonPrime.
Omni-Man is voiced by JK Simmons. The character is launching in November 2023 as part of theMortal KombatKombat Pack. Players with the Premium Edition ofMortal Kombat 1recieved this pack for free.
The remaning characters that will join Mortal Kombat as part of the first wave of DLC are Quan Chi, Peacemaker, Ermac, Homelander and Takashi Takeda.
Tremor, Mavado, Johnny Cage, Ferra and Khameleon are scheduled to join the game as Kameo fighters.
Series co-creator and Mortal Kombat 1 creative directorEd Boonrecently teased that horror iconGhostface could be coming to Mortal Kombat.
Mortal Kombat 1 was released on September 19 to general critical praise, with the game’sMetacriticscore currently sitting at 84 on consoles and 83 onPC.
VGC’sMortal Kombat 1 reviewcalls it “the best Mortal Kombat game to date”, awarding it a score of 5/5.
