Modern Warfare 3 Best Sniper: Longbow Loadout
Barrel: Pro 99 Long Ball
The Pro 99 Long Ball increases the damage range and accuracy of the gun, so it’s a great baseline for this sniper setup. It will slow your ADS, but don’t worry, we’ve accounted for that later in the guide.
Bolt: SAM Quickbolt
SAM Quickbolt, not the name of a famous sniper, is a bolt on the longbow that increases the speed at which you may reload.
Rear Grip: Chorus Gen Grip
This, alongside the Underbarrel that we’ve picked later in this guide are basically essential to keeping the ADS speed as quick as it can be. Nothing’s going to be worse than having a perfect shot in front of you, but it takes three working days for the Longbow to kick into gear.
Ammunition: 7.62X39MM High Grain
This ammunition provides a big bump to bullet velocity and damage range. This is what changes the sniper from a two shot anywhere but a headshot to a guaranteed kill.

Modern Warfare 3 Best Sniper: Longbow Equipment and Perks
Claymore –The camper’s best friend, the Claymore is perfect for when you’re setting up home on a map to reign down on your enemies. The only downside to the Claymore is that absolutely everyone has been trained since birth to spot a Claymore.
Engineer Vest –Unlocked at Level 10, the Engineer Vest allows players to spot any equipment such as field upgrades, kill streaks, and more through walls.
Marksman Gloves –The Marksman Gloves reduce your sway and flinch when aiming down sights, which is obviously a key item when you’re using something like a sniper rifle
Ghost TV Camo –The Ghost TV Camo blocks detection from those pesky UAVS, enemy radars and heartbeat sensors. While the massive shining glint that your enemies see when you aim at them with a sniper won’t be hidden, this is still an excellent addition to your stealthy setup.
