The Minecraft Dungeons release date will fall in April 2020, publisher Microsoft has announced.
It had previously been confirmed that the title would launch forPCand consoles next spring.

Microsoftreleased the opening cinematic for the game (above) in October, while opening registrations for aMinecraft Dungeonsclosed beta.
The action-adventure game, which is inspired by classic dungeon crawlers, is playable solo or co-op in a group of up to four people.

There’s no confirmed date for the closed beta, but you can register to participatehere.
The Minecraft Dungeons release date was revealed during Microsoft’s X019 event on Thursday, which was also used to announced new IPSfrom Rareand Obsidian, plus over40 new Xbox Games Pass titles.

The early access version of mobile titleMinecraft Earth launched in the US this week, following its recent release in the UK, Canada, South Korea, Philippines, Sweden, Mexico, Australia, New Zealand and Iceland.
To coincide with its US release, Microsoft has announcedMobs in the Park, a series of “interactive and experiential events featuringMinecraftEarth mobs popping up in New York City, London and Sydney” beginning on Saturday, November 16.

Sales of the originalMinecraft have topped 176 millionand Microsoft said in September that the gameattracts over 112 million players every month.
