Microsoft is reportedly considering bringing a newly remastered version of Halo Combat Evolved to PlayStation.
That’s according to a new report fromThe Verge, which claims that the project is in the early stages of development atXbox.

It says the game is one of several titles that’s being weighed up for inclusion inMicrosoft‘s new multiplatform push,which is codenamed “Project Latitude” internally.
While it already had a strong foothold on rival platforms thanks to perennial best-sellers Call of Duty andMinecraft, Xbox recently announced plans to bring additional titles toPlayStationandNintendo Switch, starting withPentiment, Hi-Fi Rush, Sea of Thieves and Grounded.

According to The Verge,Hellblade 2,Microsoft Flight Simulator, and anew Doom game that’s expected to be announcedat Sunday’sXbox Games Showcasecould also potentially come toPS5.
A new Gears of War gamethat’s also reportedly set to be revealed at the Xbox show, and the previously announced Fable, aren’t currently being considered for Project Latitude releases, it’s claimed.

According toWindows Centralsources, as of this month, the newGears of War, Age of Mythology Retold,Avowed,South of Midnight, Hellblade 2 andStarfieldaren’t in active development for PlayStation, even if they might be being “considered” forSonyplatforms.
