Microsoft Flight Simulator has been played by 15 million players, Xbox has confirmed.
The game, which was released onPCin 2020 before being ported toXbox Series X/Sin 2021, received widespread critical acclaim with a Metacritic score of 91.
“We’re thrilled to celebrate 15 million pilots who have taken flight with us inMicrosoftFlight Simulator,” the game’s official X account stated.
“Thanks to each and every one of you for filling the skies with your adventures! Blue skies and tailwinds.”
The game’s sequel,Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, will be released on November 19 and focuses more on career aviation.
