During herBAFTA Games Lecturein August 2018, Media Molecule studio directorSiobhan Reddysaid that she believed democratising technology is key to inspiring a new generation of game developers.

Media Molecule revealed earlier this year that it’s exploring how users couldpotentially monetise or be otherwise rewardedfor content they create in Dreams.

Dreams won the best of Gamescom 2019 award, as well as the most original game and bestPlayStation 4game awards at the convention in August.
