Mason Greenwood will feature in EA Sports FC 24, EA has confirmed.
Greenwood, who currently plays for Getafe FC, was removed fromFIFA 22and then absent fromFIFA 23following his arrest in January 2022.
Greenwood was charged with attempted rape, engaging in controlling and coercive behavior, and assault occasioning actual bodily harm. These charges were later dropped by the Crown Prosecution Service.
“EA Sports FC 24authentically reflects the active rosters of teams and clubs in the real world of football,” anEA Sportsspokesperson toldMirror Gaming.
“As he is now part of an active roster with Getafe CF, Mason Greenwood will be included in FC 24. As Greenwood was not part of an active roster at the time of our cut-off date for final team and player data, he will not appear in Ultimate Team at launch.”
Greenwood, who rose to fame at Manchester United, was loaned to Getafe in September. Since his arrival in Spain, he has yet to play a match, but he has been regularly featured as part of promotional material from Getafe.
